My dad,altho I never lived a day of my life with you, ( divorced was final when I was 6 months old) you and mama made sure we got together, be it birthdays or holiday, you neither ever remarried and stayed friends for life, the trips to florida every year sometimes twice, our parties on court St, we invited about 20 ppl and only 50 showed up, and the next one only doubled, but never any trouble, always good food and music if not played on a 33 sung by you, or Ted white or wendells band, or when u took me the singles dance at the Sheraton and at told me I can't walk in with you cuz u wouldn't get any chicks,,,,but as soon as you saw guys talking to me you came and got me to sit right next to you LOL, meeting Freddie hart n partying on his bus in florida, and the famous " whose lil girl is this? " when Tammy whinettt picked me up at the George Jones concert in flint, well I got you up close didn't I,,, so many stories sooo many good times, my friends would call me on Friday nite and say what r we doin? Lets go to your dads, not too many teenagers wanted to hang with there parents, but everyone loved you! You recruited everyone who walked thru your door,,,once a Marine Always a Marine!
