His Life

Sergeant William Bradford Jr.

William Bradford Jr (Billy) was born on July 8 1941 to the late William and Annie Mable Bradford. He entered into eternal rest on July 6 2012.



Billy was educated in Birmingham,Alabama and graduated from Hooper City High School.

He accepted Christ at a early age at the Bethel Baptist Church and was baptized in the river on Easter Sunday Morning

William joined the United States Air force and gave 28 years of dedicated service to our country.  His accomplishments were numerous. He retired from the Dade County Florida Correctional Facility as corrections officer in 2008.

His legacy was that of hard work education and motivation.  He was an encourger to this children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and all his relatives and friends.

William joined the Mason Prince Hall Pike Peaks Lodge #5 in Colorado Springs, Colorado and was granted his certificate of Master Mason on May 19 1979.

He leaves to cherish his memory, loving children Angela Alves (Atlanta, GA), Gregory  (Milwaukee WI) and Michael (Vivian) Milwaukee, WI) caring grandfather of seven, Gregory Jr, Braxton, Nathan, Braylen, Desmond, Albany and Farrell. He is beloved brother of Shirley McCoy (Clyde) of Cleveland, OH, Clarissa Wilder, Willard McReynolds (Carol) Emma Robinson (James) and Robert Broadnax all of Pittsburgh, PA: one aunt Martha Zeigler (Pittsburgh, PA) nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and many friends

He was preceded in death by dear friend Barbara Ann Hollis
