Hey Bill, Missing you more than ever! We have so many good memories of growing up in the Blevins’ home in Clarkston. I wish you were around to reminisce with! ❤️, Your Sister
Happy 64th Birthday to my little brother! I miss you so very much. Life goes on, but it sure is not the same without you. If I could, I would call you and play the Beatles' "When I'm 64". It was sure my theme song the entire year when I was 64; maybe it would have been your theme song too. I think of you often!
This would have been Bill's 60th birthday. How I wish he were here to experience it. The song by Billy Joel, "Only the Good Die Young", comes to mind. Bill, you are missed by many!
It is so hard to believe, that nine months have passed since I lost my best friend who I miss and think about every day, my heart is still hurting very. much but. my life is still going on.
Since this is the time of year that the kids are either going back to school or starting school, I keep thinking of the picture mom took of Bill on his very first day of school in either kindergarten or first grade. He was standing on the porch of our family home in Clarkston wearing a plaid shirt, jeans, and big smile. Looking at the picture, I can tell that the sun was shining on his sweet little face. I hope that the sun is still shining on your face, bro. Sure do miss you.
I thought a lot about Bill on Easter. One year the Easter Bunny brought Bill a plush purple and yellow bunny. Bill named him Mr. Easter and took him everywhere. Mr. Easter became worn over time, but was always very loved. Also, Bill loved Peeps Easter candy. The Seattle Times has a Peeps contest every year where people photograph decorated Peeps doing different activities. Most Easters I would either mail the newspaper pictures to Bill or tell him about them. He always got a kick out of the Peeps and their antics.
