Mr. Haynes was born Wednesday, October 19, 1955, in Los Angeles, California the son of William Martin Haynes, Sr. and the late Janie Pearl Poole Haynes.  He served in the U.S. navy from December, 1973 until January, 1980.

Mr. Haynes is survived by his father and step mother William Martin Haynes, Sr. and Georgia Haynes of LaGrange; his sisters, Deborah (Raymond) Hall of LaFayette, Alabama, Denise Haynes (Jerry Pagan) of Lanett, Alabama and Donna (Jeff) Daniel, Sr. of Five Points, Alabama; Step sister, Sherry Bennett of West Point, Georgia; step brother, James T. Canada, Jr. of grand Island, Florida; nieces, Angela Carlson of Italy, Selena Pagan of Lanett, April Daniel (Oscar Davidson) of Five Points; nephews, Alex Galvin of Clio, Alabama, Anthony Galvin of Valley, Ricky Pagan of Lanett, Ronnie (Jessica) Pagan of Beulah, Alabama, Jessie Pagan of  Lanett, Jason (Kim) Daniel of Roanoke, Alabama, Jeff (Felisha) Daniel, Jr. of Five Points; step niece, April Canada of LaGrange; aunt, Claudia Mitchum of Lanett; uncles, Douglas Murphy of Norcross, Georgia and Norman Haynes of South Carolina.
