My daddy was a hard working man who loved his family and loved God. He became a Truck driver in the late 70's after he graduated from the National Guard Army in 1974 and was Honorably discharged with a Service medal in 1976. In 1983 he married my mom, and stepped up to the plate of becoming a daddy to both my older brother and I. I never had a daddy until my mom met him and all of that changed. In 1990 my mom gave birth to their first biological daughter and in 1992 she gave birth to his only biological son. In 2014 my daddy gave his life to God and lived every day after that trying to be a better person who stayed faithful to both God and his family. A few years back daddy got sick and was never quite the same. June 17th, 2016 my daddy went to the hospital and never came back home. On July 3,2016 we had to let daddy go. He was at peace and was finally free from all sickness and pain.
