This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, William Marsh, 90, born on December 21, 1924 and passed away on June 25, 2015. We will remember him forever.

I met Bill for the first time at Christmas 1990 in Venezuela, by then I planned to move out to the United States along with my family a few months later. That same Christmas he invited us to his home in Florida, once there we also went to Disney. How precious moments! It was pure fun. Since that first meeting, Bill became a member of our family; during the time we lived in Connecticut we exchanged several visits. One time Bill and I ate more than half of a cake while no one was around, it turned out that that cake was special for a birthday that would have been held later that day. I remember the faces of anger from our sisters-in-law when they found out, but also Bill´s face of satisfaction given by such an exquisite cake.
Back in Venezuela, he came to spend Christmas with our extended family. It is our custom to get together each year to, in a general sense, celebrate life. This year and the next years to come, we will meet again and Bill will be there also, not physically, but he will certainly be in everything we do. He will still be reading in his reading chair, jumping every now and then due to the deafening sounds of fireworks, which are very common during Christmas. He will still hear our songs and he will smile, he will be in our joys even when there is sadness for his departure. Peace to your soul Bill.
