William was born in LaGrange, Georgia on December 3, 1983, the son of Linda Swick Smith and Wayne Smith. He was a Christian by Faith. For most of his adult life he suffered from the effects of Huntington’s disease, but in his younger years he enjoyed a full life of recreational sports. He was active in baseball, football, basketball, soccer, and loved riding his bicycle. In his teenage years he loved working on small engines, and playing video games. He was filled with life, and always had a spunky personality. He brought great joy to his parents and grandparents. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his parents, Linda and Wayne Smith of Roanoke, Al.; grandmother’s, Dorothy Swick of Franklin, GA., and Virginia Smith of Roanoke, AL.; and several adoring aunts, uncles, and cousins.
