This memorial website was created in memory of our beloved father, William Thomas Casey JR., 63, born on July 6, 1952 and passed away on September 25, 2015.

William Thomas Casey Jr.

Survived by his two daughters Colleen Marie Casey 29, Cortney Ann Casey 28 and two grandson’s Aidan age 9 and Titan age 3months.

Our Father a Tenderhearted, Loving Man

Ever since we can remember our father had always said he wanted to be cremated. He also did not want a ceremony. He requested us, his daughters; to spread his ashes at our favorite place. His sudden passing has been difficult for us and we are hoping his coworkers, friends and neighbors would help us through this difficult time by sharing their memory of him in any fashion in which they find comfortable.

We thank you in advance for your thoughts as we are still dealing with this difficult time and are in search of closure by learning more of his daily life.

I lived 2 houses from bill and Steve on harborage drive. We were best friends from 1963 to 68. I talked him into joining jujitsu and judo and we did many tournaments and outings together. We would go out to saguaro monument hiking and to Tucson dragway most Sunday’s. Was just surfing the web and stunned to see he passed. So sorry for your loss.

The Casy bros showed up at Steel School in early spring of 62. Bill and I became immediate friends. I was always facinated with NewYork City and here was this kid fresh off the Warf with stories about gang fights and Rock'n Roll bands. He was interested in my experiences with the wild animals of the Desert. Perhaps we both expanded the truth a bit.                       He and Steve were superior athletes and couldn't be arrogant though they tried, this was part of their charm, they were friends with everybody. One incident that comes to mind was little try outs in 64. The head coach was hitting fly's to a bunch of us and Bill was being too aggressive. The coach pointed out to the field and yelled "hey you!" Bill says "who me?" coach says "yea you." again Bill says " who me?" this went on and we cracked up. Bill was very funny where and what ever was happening. We where all shuffled to different schools and sessions But when Sahuaro opened it was Steel School over again with Bill and Steve at the helm.
When I read about Bill this afternoon I'm really bummed. I wanted to see him again. Bill I can see you in the alley on the west side singing "Officer Krupkee".

I knew Bill and Steve Casey all the way back to 5th grade at Steele Elementary School in Tucson. They were a pair!!!! I knew Bill a little bit better in high school but considered them both friends.

I was happy when Steve helped with our 40th Reunion and was very sorry that Bill didn't make it to the reunion. Steve was a real help and he shared many memories of Bill too. After Steve's passing, Bill came to Tucson and I met him for dinner. We also had a great time sharing old stories and times. He was a great guy.

My love goes to his daughters and family.

Bill, was an outstanding high school classmate to me and all others he came in contact with. He accepted and led people with a winsome way that made you just feel good to be around him. May God have mercy on his eternal soul.

Bill Casey... and his twin brother Steve. I knew them first in Jr. High (Tucson, AZ @ Magee) in the mid-1960s. ('64-'65) They both had Irish tempers & were very competitive. I used to watch them battle sometimes on the playground during the breaks. I think both were on the football team. I remember Bill more than Steve. Bill was a running back and a fierce competitor. It was flag football and my one remembrance of him was watching him run with a laser focus & concentration, carrying the ball down the field, the flags around his waste flapping in the wind. The fierce Casey Brothers. A site to remember. :-)
