William (Bill) Wallace Robarts, 74, of Lake Placid, Florida, formerly of Arcadia passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016. He was born July 25, 1942 in Arcadia.
Bill graduated from DeSoto County High School in 1960 then graduated from Mississippi State University. He was a veteran, retired from the U.S. Air Force after 21 years. He was of Methodist faith. He also loved photography and getting together with family and friends .
Survivors includes Geraldine Barnwell and her family of Fort Ogden; his sister, Patricia (Dave) Pattison of North Port; nephew, (Howdy)David (Wendy) Pattison of Indiantown; niece, Kathy (Roland) Duyn; and two great nieces and one great nephew of North Port. He is also survived by stepchildren, Terri Lee Hamm and John David Wright. He was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Hazel Robarts and wife, Teddy W. Robarts.
A celebration of Bill's life will be held at 2:00 on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at the United Methodist Church of Fort Odgen. In lieu of flowers , memorial donations may be made to United Methodist Church of Fort Odgen, P.O. Box 340, Fort Ogden, Florida 34267.
