Retired Staff Sergeant Willie David Frazier, first born, of David & Effie Lakes Frazier entered into eternal rest October 6, 2013.

He began his earthly journey June 21, 1936 in Hogansville, Georgia (Plainview Community). He attended grammar and high school in Mountville, Georgia and graduated from West End High School in 1955. Serving the Lord was instilled at an early age through family values and tradition. He was a member of Plainview Community Church – formally Hills Chapel United Methodist Church.

Upon realizing the area limited employment opportunities, he entered the United States Army in February 1959 and retired in March 1979. Staff Sergeant Frazier held many positions of responsibility that included: Stock Control Clerk, 67th Medical Depot, Germany; Unit Supply Sergeant, 17th Medical Unit Supply, Fort Hood, Texas; and Assistant Noncommissioned Officer in Charge, Supply and Service 43d Surgical Hospital, Korea. He ended his military career in the 32d Medical Supply, Optical and Maintenance Unit.

He was not inactive when he returned home. He was employed by the Hogansville Police Department as a radio dispatcher and assisted his brother and sister with Frazier Trucking Company in Greenville, Georgia.

His family and friends will cherish his memories.

Children: Flora Marie Lindsey, Donald L. Hinton and LaVictor (Curlyn) Freeman: sixteen grandchildren and great-grandson.

Siblings: Wonderelene Marchman, Genella Russell, Gloria Frazier and Wayne (Patricia) Frazier.

Nieces and Nephews: Pamela (Bobby) Hill, Sidney Marchman, Warren Marchman, Trevette Woodward, Timothy Woodward, Tia (Gerald) Brewer-Footman, Tiffany (Ronnie) Urquhart and Trimeloni Frazier. Great-niece and nephews: Marquis Colton, Marissa Woodard and Trevon Woodard, and a multiplicity of cousins and friends.
