Mr. Willie (Lil’ Joe) James Graves, son of the late C. B. Graves, Sr. and Rosie Christian Graves, was born in Bullock County, Alabama on May 4, 1958.

He confessed a belief in Christ and united with the Mt. Azure Baptist Church family. Following a life of work and travel, Mr. Graves passed away on August 8, 2012 in Huntsville, Alabama.

He was preceded in death by one brother, C. B. Graves, Jr. The earthly memories of Mr. Graves will be cherished by two loving children, Willie James Graves, Jr. and Quineshia Graves, both of Midway, AL; four sisters, Mary Harris, Christine (Mose) Foster, both of Midway, AL; Lillie B. Graves, Detroit, MI and Talisha Farmer, Montgomery, AL; six brothers, USA (RET) Jessie James (Mary and Tyja) Graves, Huntsville, AL; L. C. Graves, Eugene Graves, Otis Graves, Edward (Teresa) Graves, all of Midway, AL; Glenn Graves, Rochester, NY; a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
