Willie Morris McFarlinwas born in Luthersville, GA on February 17, 1962 to Mrs. Alice Pearl Hinton and the late Mr. Morris McFarlin.

He attended Greenville High School, Greenville, GA and later transferred to Newnan High School, Newnan, GA. where he was a member of the basketball team.  After graduation he enlisted in the military, where he served in the U. S. Army, completing basic training at Fort Jackson, S. C. and AIT at Fort Lee, VA.  He was assigned to Fort Hood, TX and the 1st Armor Division. He completed a tour of duty in Germany before he was honorably discharged as his health began to fail.  He lived a peaceful life at home helping to care for his mother.

Willie was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Morris McFarlin; step-father, Mr. John Hinton; and three step-brothers, Mr. Adolph Amey, Mr. Tommy Hinton and Mr. Horace Hinton.

He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving mother, Mrs. Alice Pearl Hinton of Luthersville, GA; three sisters, Mrs. Florine (Johnny) Allen of Ft. Washington, MD, Ms Yvone Blalock of Luthersville, GA and Ms. Melinda McFarlin of Atlanta, GA; three brothers, Mr. Thomas A. McFarlin of Charlottesville, VA, Mr. Christopher McFarlin of Atlanta, GA and Mr. Jousual A. Hinton of San Antonio, TX; three aunts, Minister Rosa Tates of Wilmington, N.C., Mrs. Mary Clayton of Luthersville, GA and Mrs. Elizabeth Render of Newnan, GA; one uncle, Mr. John (Annie) Render of LaGrange, GA; a loving and caring niece, Ms. Ursula (Willie) Parker of Luthersville, GA; two great aunts, Mrs. Gwendolyn Hall of Atlanta, GA and Mrs. Mary Parks of Greenville, GA; a step sister-in-law, Mrs. Mary R. Amey of Luthersville, GA; a step-sister, Mrs. Shirley (Williams) Dobbs of Newnan, GA; two step-brothers, Mr. Rawlin Hinton and Mr. Jimmy Hinton of Atlanta, GA; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. /span>
