Since I came along too late to get much Wilma-time, these are John's thoughts:

I remember Wilma at her best in the garden growing the largest mock orange bush I have ever seen.  Also the huge heavy peony blooms--I was amazed!  Who was this woman and how did she do it?!?!?  Her daughter, Jan, must have been paying attention!!
I will miss the mental banter with Wilma, as I like to do with people just to see what they will say.  I don't know if Wilma liked it though; but she never hauled off and slugged me, that I remember.  Anyway...she had many talents and opinions and I respected her wisdom.  So I want to thank Jan for introducing her to me, and I thank Wilma for introducing Jan to this world, for it's a better place with Jan here with us.
