Mrs. Fulghum was born Friday, October 7, 1927, in Randolph County, Alabama, the daughter of the late Rzora Prestridge and Sam E. Wade. She was a member of Happy Valley Baptist Church, Lanett where she taught a Senior Sunday School class. She had retired from Playtex, LaFayette, was an avid gardener and University of Alabama fan.

Survivors include her daughter, Vicki Morris of West Point; her grandchildren, Noah Morris, Christian Morris, and Chloe Faith Morris, all of West Point; her adopted children, Benji and Margie Johnson of Five Points; her brother, Reverend A. T. (Ollie) Wade of Camp Hill; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, David.
