If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, ah yes, these things I too will miss. Gigi couldn't be any sillyier than this, Today i went to Natalies baby shower and she looked beautiful, Gigi was very happy for natalie becoming a mother ....She should of been with me to celebrate it with her but she was in spirit. Luv u Natalie and Gigi does too.
David, if you get to see this i wanted to let you know there was a time in her life when she needed someone and you were there to help her get through and i wanted to thank you for that. Gigi had told me she wanted to thank you also when she had the chance.... that you must of thought she was just crazy. Since she is not here now I am speaking for her.
Oh how she loved to dance and here she is just practicing with her friend a popular spanish tune.
Gigi had a dance in 5th grade for hispanic month she told me a day before and practiced her dance only 1 day, she made me so proud on her perfomance. Everyone got into her dance and music and the people were just singing along. She picked up on moves very quick ..A Natural born dancer.
Gigi's first boyfriend Jarrid at 16 years old, she really liked him and concidered him her first love... always told me he would have a special place in her heart . We even moved to the apartments where he lived cause she wanted to be close to him. When he enlisted in the Army she was left sad but happy that he was there to get his life straight.
Last minute Gigi decided she wanted to prom 3 days prior, took a day off work to find a dress in Miami, come back to naples and leave it at the seamstress to be altered, gigi spends the night before Prom with her girlfriends partying all night come the next day, the day of the prom, the dress was not ready, she forgets her shoes at her friends house. We had two hours after getting the dress to head home, get dressed and get to Prom on Marco Island and we made it 30 minutes before the doors closed ...She had a great time. For my daughter it was all worth it.
Gigi liked eating at the fair but not the rides always scared though Cindy wanted to ride gigi just wouldn't
She spent a wonderful day at the beach with Joseph and friends and finally was able to use her ID at the gas station.
Gigi loved Joe very much, but there were too many differences between each other. Was very heart broken when the relationship didn't work out but thought some time in the future there would of been a reconciliation between them both.
Gigi and Cindy at the last minute decided they wanted to go to homecoming we drove all over to find dresses for them and in this picture next to her is Cindy's cousin who also share the same birthday as my daughter 6/15/93, Gigi always felt a certain bond because of that. After the dance she said the had a great time and was glad she went.
I found this video within gigi's archive, I didn't know how much she loved him until i saw this , he was put down accidently in 2010 and am sure he waited to see her on the other side.
We went to Miami to take her pictures and it turned out lots of rain in forcast so we had to push forward the photo shoot in her beautiful wihte dress for (which she couldn't fit into at the time) LOL
When you and your mom lived with me in Coral Springs:
Me(Diana): Gigi, i am ordering Chinese take out, what do you want?
Gigi: I want Egg Wa soup!
Me: (confused look) Huh? what the heck is EggWa soup?
Gigi: Tia EggWa soup! That chinese soup with eggs
Me: You mean EGG DROP soup!!!
Oh Gigi.... We had so many laughs....too many to list here. Those memories will forever stay with me. It hurts that my kids will never meet their big cousin. But i know you will be helping me from above to fulfill that dream of mine, to be a mother. My kid(s) will know everything about you! I know my babies will be born with a special Guardian Angel.
