ForeverMissed

This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Yingluck Bender, 33, born on January 20, 1981 and passed away on November 11, 2014. We will remember her forever.

Yingluck lived her life truly and abundantly. A loving and generous, joyful and sweet spirit, she exemplified compassion and dedication. The way she served and loved her family and friends inspired others to do the same. To be with her was to share that joy, and her hospitality was to be admired.

Yingluck has loved so many special family members and friends from all around the world, and she treated each one with the same pleasant disposition, dignity, and respect. She had an adventurous, outgoing attitude exemplified in her willingness to move to another country and learn another language- she truly understood the universal language of kindness.

Yingluck left a big footprint in this life, and we will miss her and her beautiful smile always.

Dear Bender family, it has taken me this long to convey my message and choose my words carefully. Yingluck was like a gentle light that lit up our camp. Although we knew her only a short time we were all touched by her spirit. She was always the first to volunteer and help. It was her way to be warm and kind even when things were difficult. We all walked away a little happier after speaking with her. Our camp won't be the same without seeing her ride her bicycle or tasting one of her delicious meals. But we will remember her spirit through Samantha and Steven, who are both lucky enough to have her smile. This is her gift to us.

"Sean, Steven and Samantha my heart is broken and words cannot express exactly how I feel right now. Such a sudden and tragic loss to us all. I cannot imagine what you must be feeling. I pray that you will find some solace in all the happy memories and take some sort of comfort from knowing and being loved by such a special person. Yingluck was indeed a special person who loved her family and friends with all her heart and this tragedy is so hard to understand. I pray for you in your time of need."

Sean, you don't need us to tell you what a beautiful woman Yingluck was. She was always so smiley and happy, with a generosity that truly came from her heart. From the moment she arrived in Nigeria, she was present and offering to do whatever she could to help in whatever way possible. Her love for her children, and the joy and pride they brought her, was evident in everything she did. I hope that your wonderful memories, and ours, of time spent with Yingluck will bring you, Steven and Samantha some comfort during this difficult time. We are all better people for having known her and we will miss her greatly.

Yingluck, we all love you and will miss you so very much. You had one of the sweetest, kindest, most gentle spirits I have ever known. You touched countless lives with your generosity, hospitality, beautiful smile, happy demeanor, and the way you loved and served your family and friends. We were all blessed to know you and are better people for it, and your memory will live on. Sean, Steven, and Samantha: I pray that you would know that the God of all comfort is with you. "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" Psalm 34:18. "'For I know the plans I have for you', declares the Lord. 'Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future'." Jeremiah 29:11.
