Yolanda McGuirl was the sweetest, most caring person I have ever known. She truly cared about her family, friends, and anyone she met. She did more for other people then she did for herself. She would give you the shirt off her back if someone needed it. I was the lucky one though, because I got to be her daughter. I love my mom so much for so many reason. Not just for being my mother, but for also being my best friend. She never gave up on me, was always there when I needed her. Anyone who knew her loved her. They say you can tell how a person lived after they die by the way people talk about them and if they show up to say goodbye at their funeral. At my mom's funeral there were so many people there to say goodbye and not a dry eye in the place. Mom, I love you, miss you, and I will carry in my heart until the day we see eachother again. Thank you for being my mom and my best friend. Sleep well my angel. -Lisa- XOXO

YoYo and Sandra Tucci

January 16, 2016

I remember when I was just a little girl and my mom's bestfriend was Sandra Tucci. They did everything together.  They were more like sisters then friends. If they weren't together they were on the phone with eachother. It was like I had 2 mother's instead of one. Once Sandra got sick and died, a piece of my mother died with her. She would never admit it, but we all saw it. She missed her so much. But like Sandra was a mother to me, my mother was also a mother to her children,  Toni-Marie and Dean. So you see, not only did I have my 2 sisters, but also Toni and Dean were my sister and brother two. All 5 of us have lost 2 mother's now. We had the greatest mother's anyone could have asked for. We were the lucky ones. We had excellent roll models for mothers. If I can be half a mother to my children that they were to me I'd be happy. I love them and miss them both so much.
