A Time to be Born: Ms. Yvonne Davenport was born May 21, 1959 to the late Mr. Woodrow and the late Effie Blue Boykin of Louisville, Alabama.

A Time to Worship: At an early age Yvonne confessed Christ and joined Shady Grove Baptist Church. Upon moving to Niceville, FL she joined the Living Faith Christian Center.

A Time to Love: After high school Yvonne moved to Oakland, CA where she met and married Lawrence Davenport, Sr.

A Time to Embrace: Yvonne is known for her big smile, love of family and laughter and of all things beautiful. She was always optimistic, compassionate, trustworthy and a peacemaker. She was filled with integrity, humility and unselfishness. She was a keeper of her word and a friend to many. Her courage surpassed that of most people as she never focused on the negative while clinging to the positive.

A Time to Mourn: Yvonne was preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Boykin. Yvonne will forever be remembered, loved and cherished by her loving children: Lisa Davenport, Lawrence (Danielle) Davenport, Jr., Tonya Davenport, Oakland, CA, Nikki Davenport, Atlanta, GA, Jamal Davenport (Norisha), Reno, NV, and Dante Davenport, Oakland, CA. and their father Lawrence Davenport, Sr., Oakland, CA. She leaves 12 siblings that will forever hold her close: Richard Rumph, Miami, FL, Woodrow (Alvia) Boykin, Jr., Louisville, AL, Ethel (Donnell) Miles, Stockton, CA, Elizabeth Downing, Niceville, FL, Mary Boykin, Joseph Boykin, John Earl Boykin, Louisvile, AL, Mack (Sherry) McKinnon, Kileen, TX, Earlene Patton (Chester Mallory), Montgomery, AL, Morris Boykin, Orlando, FL, Patrick (Helena) Boykin, Sr., Mont Verde, FL and Pamela Brantley, Niceville, FL. Four grandchildren: Christina, Anthony, Aiden and Aaliyah Davenport; a very special niece, LaKesha Cobb (Jermaine), Oakland, CA, whom she thought of as a daughter. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
