This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Yvonne Leung, 72, born on June 8, 1943 and passed away on November 1, 2015. We will remember her forever.

A technical mailbox fault prevented me from reading your last news until today! And it mercilessly cuts the hotline with you my dearest friend, forever. Yvonne, your passing broke my heart!! Every moment I look at the photos taken on our last meeting just this February, I cry. Your sincerity, generocity and motherly love has warmed my heart in my nearly 30 years of Canadian adventure. We will always remember Titi Yvonne as a very sweet and gentle lady and for whom her family and relatives was everything. She made us feel completely at home on our visit in Vancouver together with Dad years ago. Je me rappellerai toujours de votre gentillesse, votre douceur et votre affection quand j'étais chez vous et lors de votre passage dans votre île natale, l'Ile Maurice. Je garderai en mémoire de bons souvenirs, dont votre bonne humeur, votre sourire, vos talents culinaires, votre générosité et votre grande hospitalité. Vous m'aviez accueilli les bras grands ouverts pendant les moments difficiles, et depuis ce jour nous avons eu une relation particulière, Vos appels téléphoniques ou nous passions du temps à papoter de tout et de rien vont beaucoup me manquer. Mrs. Leung was a kind and gentle soul. She was always so certain to ensure that everyone around her was happy, fed, and looked after. Now it is time for you to rest with the Lord. Yvonne was like an older sister to me, I have spent most of my childhood, school holidays with her at la rue Long, I am glad I was able to visit her last year and have the fondest memories of our few days spent together.
