ForeverMissed

This memorial website was created in cherished memory of our loved one, ZELMA DEATON, who we lost on November 2, 2013--a very special day in commemoration of the faithfully departed--All Souls' Day--at the Divine Mercy hour--and was ushered into glory with the words spoken only by her Savior, Jesus Christ, "Well done good and faithful servant."  Mom was truly a faithful servant to the Church she loved with all her life...talent, time, and treasure.

Happy Birthday mom...no words can ease the loss of this special day shared with you over the years--I miss your child like smile in anticipation of cake and cards and clapping hands in celebration. I can see Jesus leading you across the floor in dance and remembrance of birthdays gone by ever ageless--His beautiful daughter--in all her finery. Thank you Lord for April 15, 1920, and for the unforgettable time you gave me to care for mom. From my hands to Yours, I shall have no better gift except -that is- Your name.

My mother, as beautifully gifted coming into this world, she departed ever more lovely. She will be missed by those who knew her or who simply crossed her path of unforgettable grace and light. She is remembered by peers, colleagues and friends alike of an eager hospitality, and by many along the way of her willing guided hands of healing to those hurting and words of prayer so often shared with those in need of encouragement.

I’m so very proud of her, this unfading USO rose...for mom fought a valiant battle with Parkinson’s and won, and now sits before the Throne playing her beloved ivories with strong skillful fingers for the greatest caregiver there could ever be–her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ–the true masterpiece.
