ZURADIA SPENCER WORRELL..."MUH"
Our mother, birthed her children and raised them to be confident, strong, and loving to one another. She gave all of us what she had, and inspired us to go and get more in order to meet our individual goals. She would sternly say "YOU CAN DO ANYTHING YOU WANT WITH JESUS ON YOUR SIDE".
She was able to respect the differences in all her children and enjoyed every talent each of her children portrayed. She was very proud of her children.
When I feel inadequate or distressed about a new chapter in my life, I can draw from the spirit of confidence my mother had in me with my abilities. I soon re-group and do what I have to do.
You know, I found out over the years that "MUH" was soooo right. I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST THAT STRENGHTHENS ME.
I thank God for "MUH"

Still Loving You ALWAYS
Loving you and Daddy Richard is still ALIVE for me because you parented and raised such great people... My sisters and brothers and their families. I get to enjoy each of them because of you two. Thank you for RAISING LOVE THAT ENDURES FOR MY "FOREVER".
I'll be loving YOU BOTH. ALWAYS.
Remembering MUH
Muh lived to be very proud of her oldest son she called "Brother", sometime "Duddy" She was a woman who didn't scare easily nor did she have much patience for those who did. She was determined that her only son would not grow up weak and irresponsible. She would punish severely when I got caught doing bad deeds, which was often. For her strength, power, and pure guts, I will be forever grateful. Her teachings, by example have saved my life. I still keep in my heart today her voice on rainy days as she read the exciting pages of "Sinbad the Sailor". My music appreciation for the piano of Art Blakey, Ahmad Jamal and the prose of Longellow made me an early intellectual which few kids in the 50s could appreciate. Boy, was she funny. I still laugh at some of her made up stories. Few kids had a mom like me. I truly loved her and I am glad that she knew it.
Alex.
I Remember Muh on her Birthday!
Happy Birthday Muh! Yes, today you are 95. Are you still as sassy as you always were. I believe you are really living the life right now, still singing with all those other wonderful voices. Well, I still miss you and think of you so often. Thank you for the years of talking and for all your wisdom. I am doing well, and so are Jewell and Jerry. Yes, Leon and I are still loving each other. I know you and Jevon have visited with each other. You have probably taught him to sing by now. Say "Love" to Daddy Richard for me. Love always, Reen
