Whether on land, in the air, on the water or under the water, our father did it all and he did it well.

He trained in Special Forces in the United States Army and ranked first in his class. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.

He became a small engine pilot in both single and double engine aircraft. After mastering both these, he became an instructor and was going for his mechanic's license.

He built and sailed different types of boats and became SCUBA certified, trying to better his depth every chance he got.

He did all these things, but most importantly he is known for being a husband, a father and a brother in blue.

He tried to be the best he could be each and every day in every single thing he did and he usually succeeded in doing so.

Those who knew him have suffered a great loss, but to say this is the greatest loss we've ever faced is an understatement and those who didn't know him have definitely been cheated.

Philip Farley will always be the greatest man we have ever known. We love you and can't wait to see you again someday.
