Thanksgiving Day

I hadn't seen Jr in about 3 or 4 years and one day just out of the blue he called me. It was like 2 days before Thanksgiving so I invited him and his little family to come have Thanksgiving with me. He said he would but I didn't think he'd show up. But on Thanksgiving day he pulled up with his little family and that made my whole day a great day. That's what I was thankful for that year. I hugged him so tight and he hugged me back. We had a beautiful day that day. I'll remember that day forever. That's what it feels like to me, like if he's just gone with Starr and I wait for him to call me or just show up. But I know he's gone and ain't coming back and I'll never see him again.
