Christmas 2010
Aaron is still my inspiration....
You were my best friend. I remember a few things bro. I remember Savers shopping sprees lol. I remember falling off mountains at 3 in the morning.I remember the club we visited together many times. Probly more than we should have. I remember the dumpster fight at M.E.P.S. and the scar it left on ur tat that i was supposed to fix..but what i remember clearest and the story i think of when i think of u brother is basic training. We were at Ft. Sill Oklahoma waiting to get off the bus and get wolfpacked by the drill instructors. Both of us just as nervous as the other. I remember getting into our respective bunks that first night. The lights when out and I said "Hey Aaron" and you cut me off and said "We will be alright bro. Weve got this" and I said "Ok. Night bro." and u said something that has stuck with me since. You said "We have been down that road bro. We know where it goes. It only leads to death. We can do this. I got ur back. Now let me sleep" lol I'm sorry I wasnt there for u more and Im sorry I screwed up a few times and Im sorry I didnt always have your back but I love you bro. Im gonna miss you and this hurt is gonna stay with me for a long time. It will be the reminder I will have forever of a good man,a good husband, a good father, a good son and brother, a good friend, and one hell of a U.S. Soldier. Your memory and words will be with me forever and in my heart. If it wasnt for you I would have taken a dark road and I might not be here. I will always remember the program words you said to me many times. "There but for the grace of God go I" Hooah brother.
