Dear Abi

March 30, 2021
It's been 5 years and all this while I couldn't bring myself up to write anything. I still say to my husband (who never got a chance to meet you) how I wish you were here. We spent such a short time knowing each other but they were sweet times. You were so impactful and I still remember some of your words to me.

I also remember the story of the anti-aging cream at Liverpool Street station. You were so trusting and fell for those con artists. I am sure they are paying more than that now.
Rest on sis. You will forever be missed.

Doubt cleared and refunded!!!

April 11, 2016

I remember and always will remember that story. One Monday I noticed that I have £100 withdrawed from my account but I couldn`t remember that transaction at all. I checked and checked again the details of the transaction it was still unclear in my mind. I was at work without being there, I was furious and confused at the same time because I couldn`t remember what happened.
When Abi came to work, I explained her the situation. She aked me many questions like a Police inspector to help me remember things but nothing. The only thing we knew was that the withdrawal has been done at a local Sainsbury ATM near our office. She told me to go there and ask them to view their CCTV to be sure about what happened. Knowing that I was afraid and unsure about knowing the truth she decided to come with me at Sainsbury to do that request. I even didn`t want to go anymore but at 1o`clock she said: "let go to find out what happened and know who stole your money". You can`t imagine how determined she was to know the truth, how she put herself into my shoes. When arriving to the shop, she requested to talk to the manager and explained him the situation. Without hesitation, he brough us to his office to visualise the tape. We saw that I didn`t withdraw any money but just check my balance as I exactely remembered. From this moment I was confident to request a refund from the bank and I `ve been refunded the full amount few days later. Without Abi `s intervention, I`ll drop the case and never request a refund.
Abi taught me to always fight no matter what especially if you know that you`re right and deserve to be heard. Always stand up for the truth.
I`ll never forget her, my big sister that I really love.

Sis Abby was a nice woman, sometime last year, I got a transfer from my office and I was not too happy about it,she asked me if I was enjoying my new office, I told her I wasn't,so many odds, And despite that we were not in the same age bracket, she was my friends elder sis, but she would talk to me everyday to encourage me,she didn't stop encouraging me till I told her  all  was ok. Sis Abby would not miss sending money to me every Xmas and easter to buy rice and vegetable oil for her extended  family and friends in Nigeria, she would be greatly missed.
