The ebullient Augustine attended the Government primary School Njikwa where he displayed absolute briliance and made it at the Government Common Entrance and First school Leaving Certificate examinations. He later gained admission into GSS Njikwa where he paddled the academic ladder to the GCE Ordinary and Advanced Levels with a stamp of great success.

His very brilliant results at the GCE Advanced Levels gained him admission into the University of Buea where he studied Education Foundation and Administration. Augustine was virtually the smallest student of this Department and his jocular nature gained him the admiration of all. Augustine passed out of this Cameroonian prestigious University with a Second Class Honors degree.

From Augustine's course of study at the University, it is evident he was interested in the development of people - educationally. Later, Augustine became a veritable humanitarian personnel when he changed from being an educationist to a nurse - a profession he held till his death.

After his graduation from the University of Buea, Augustine immigrated to the United States of America thanks to the Diversity Lottery program. A successful exploitation of the brilliant opportunities in the United States inspired Augustine to start a life of responsibility.

After a short while God smiled with Augustine and directed his attention to the then Ms. Bridget Ntah. So it came to pass that Augustine's destined wife was  Bridget with whom he signed "for better for worse, in sickness and in health, for richer for poorer, till...". Life became bouyant again for Augustine. This wonderful relationship was blessed with a very beautiful and adorable daughter - Neriah.

Until his death, Augustine was very fond of his wife and daughter. Bridget too has been a very loving and caring wife who did sat by her husband sick bed all the days he was sick at the hospital, soothing, pampering, caring, praying and supporting her husband and keeping to her marital vow not because of the vow but for the love she has for her husband. The poor girl has not stopped lamenting since the husband breath his last, last Sunday July 29, 2012.

We pray the Almighty God will console, bless and provide for Bridget and Neraih. And may Augustine's soul rests in perfect peace in the Lord. Amen
