It has been said that although time flies, memories of loved ones last forever.
Our dear Abiola, we thank God for your life which was largely an embodiment of gentleness and forbearance. This made some close members of the family give you the nickname "Okunrin Jeje" meaning "the Gentleman"
You are much loved and missed by me and all members of my family.
May your gentle soul continue to Rest in Perfect Peace!

My dearly beloved brother,
I salute you on this 11th Anniversary of your glorious transition to heaven. Dr. Abiola Oludolapo Adebowale, blessed, beloved child of God, I bless and honor you on this day. I thank Almighty God for giving you the Victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1Corinthians 15:54-56).
You are loved and missed but we are thankful that you entered into the joy of the Lord and are safe in your Heavenly Father's hands. I am confident, that though you are absent from the body, you are willingly and cheerfully present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8).
I trust that in all things (good or bad) , for those of us who love God, all things work together for good, because you and I are called according to his purpose (romans 8:28). You served God's purpose, praise the Lord! I still have a lot of work to do for the Lord before I Join you in eternity.
For now, Almighty God helped me go through the grieving process so that I can deal with the pain that helped me to move on without you. However, I look forward to the day when Almighty God will make all things new for all God's people. He will wipe away every tear from our eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things would have passed away (Revelation 21:4). Amen
I thank Almighty God for your gentle spirit, gentle smile, kind heart, academic brilliance, your athletic success in basketball that earned you the name "eshin" in Yoruba which means "horse" in English because you always dunked the basket ball with one effortless high gallop, your perseverance through trials and difficulties, your steadfast faith that Almighty God made perfect and complete.
You fought the good fight, you finished the race and now you enjoy the crown of righteousness Lord the righteous judge has awarded to you (2 Timothy 4:7). To Almighty God be All the Glory!
Love you much,
Your Sister,
Abimbola

Excellent Cook
My Dear Brother,
I remember your excellent cooking skills, the fresh fish stew, the baked beans and eggs. the corned beef stew and so much more. This was one of your talents that the Lord blessed me with when you stayed with me in Brighton, England while I was studying for my final exams in Pharmacy School. Thank you for being there, for making me delicious meals , encouraging me and rejoicing with me when I passed my final exam as a Pharmacist. I do not think that I thanked you enough in your lifetime. I say a big "Thank you" and I pray that Jesus will kindly deliver this to you by his grace and sovereignty. Love, Abimbola

Pastor Buraimoh's Narration of Dr. Abiola Adebowale's Testimony
Pastor Buraimoh's narrative:
On January 25th, 2010, myself and Mr. Adejumo were sent by Dr. Abimbola Adebowale to go and pray for Dr. Abiola Adebowale (her brother) and bring her a report of the health condition of Dr. Abiola Adebowale. When we got there, Dr. Abiola Adebowale invited us in and we sat down and gave him the gift of oranges that we brought for him. He was very grateful. As I , Pastor Buraimoh sat down the Holy Spirit led me to tell him about my testimony of how the Lord brought me to a saving faith in Jesus Christ from my life of darkness into His marvelous light. After I did this, I was led by the Holy Spirit to ask Dr. Abiola Adebowale if he would accept Jesus Christ as his savior. He said yes and confessed with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believed in his heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and was saved by grace through faith. He then bowed to the Lord Jesus Christ and started laughing and crying at the same time. He was filled with the joy of the Lord by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thanks be to God! Dr. Adebowale was washed, sanctified, justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of God and is now made alive together with Christ. Dr. Adebowale has eternal life because he believed in the Lord Jesus Christ (John 3:36). The Lord healed him absolutely (physically and spiritually) by his stripes. This is the testimony of Dr. Abiola Adebowale. He overcame the enemy of his soul by the blood of the lamb and the word of his testimony (Revelation 12:11) and God was glorified.
"Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts the whole earth is full of His glory! (Isaiah 6:3)"
