|Let the memory of Abraham be with us forever|
This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Abraham Floyd, 57, born on February 12, 1958 and passed away on July 6, 2011. We will remember him forever.
"Hey Abe, I think of you on every 12 of February, you were born 2 days after me in the same hospital. And believe it or not Josh, Abe and Brandi were born there too. I just want you to know I have no ill feeling towards you. Sounds like you were a light in some of your children's eyes, and for that I'm thankful. I miss my Abe so much, wondering if perhaps you all have cross paths, and finally was able to sit for a while and realize what a wonderful beautiful young man, my Abe was. He was a great son, a good friend, a wonderful brother, and most of all he loved his children so much, and he was a great dad. I go through everyday hoping that a connection has been made, so you all are not far from family love. The day you passed I thought things were unreal, you were too young to go. I cried bc you were part of Josh, Abe, Brandi and me. No matter how far away you were you were always not far from thought. My world was turned upside down the day my Abe left, my heart has been broken beyond repair! Oh yes, I still have my Josh and 7 wonderful grandkids, they are my world no matter where they are. Each one looking that unique look of a Smith and a Floyd. I'm so very proud of them all. You gave me 3 of the greatest blessings of all, you would have been proud. So just to tell you, you are never to far away from my thoughts around this day, I wish you a wonderful Birthday while you celebrate at your destiny. May God have Blessed you in your journey. And each year I turn older, you will be in my thoughts as well."
"Another year has passed I'm not far behind you maybe we will meet again some other time.Never forgot you just never seen you very often so where ever you are RIP"
"My dearest brother another year has gone by and the pain is no less. Inlove you so much. So much has happened since you left us. You have more grandkids. And hopefully you have joined up with both your sons in heaven with you. There are days that I feel you in my life and days that I don't. On those days I just figure your spreading your love amongest the other members of our family..Abes boy Liem looks so much like him. You can really tell he is a Floyd. And Joey he got married going on two years this year. Shirley has two boys. Justin has a new baby girl. He looks like you too. Travis has two or three not sure. And Josh is married with three boys. I get to see pictures of Abraham's two youngest Payto and Colton. Colton looks just like his daddy. Then Guage and Crystal they are wonderful. Mom is doing ok. Our older brother Ernie became a great grandpa. And I became a great grandma again. Chuckies girls talk about you all the time. Especially your favorite Shalyn. Anyhow I love you and wish I was there to hug you. And have a wonderful birthday with your sons. I will be celebrating you in my heart. Your sister Bertha (Sissy) Garbrandt."
"Well dad, it's been 5 long years... In that 5 years, I graduated high school, went to college, got married and had the most beautiful baby boy in the world. I'm sure you would be beyond proud of how far I have come in life. It's been rough, it's been hard. But I've learned to believe God has a plan for everything. I love you dearly and will see you on the other side daddy."
"I wanna say i love you dad and i will never forget about you and you will always be in my prayers i love you dad RIP dad. Love your son joseph calvin floyd."
"It dont seem like 5 years so soon to be gone but probably in a better place than we will ever know.RIP Brother"
"Just stopping by to say, I'm glad you are not in pain anymore! I know life goes on different for people, I'm glad you were in my life for the time we were together. You gave me the greatest blessings of all! My sons, I love them more than life! I hope by now you have met your 2nd son Abe! He was a great man, a good brother, and a wonderful father to his 4 children! You would have been proud! You watch over him, take care of each other. Much love to you all!"
"Every year that passes you are still in my heart. My heart that is aching. All of our good times can never be taken from me. The memories are burned in my mind. I love and miss you so much."
