Dear Ada  As you probably know all of your family and closest friends gathered in your honor yesterday. As everyone in the room shared their thoughts about you it was abundantly clear how much you were loved. What a tribute to a beautiful woman’- a wife, mother, grandmother and friend  We will never stop missing you. Please watch over Ron and the girls. It is especially hard for them. Love you my friend

Dear Ada,
It’s hard to believe that it’s been a year since you left us. I miss little things like you asking “Whatcha doing for lunch” on the weekends. We had so much fun singing The Supremes and The Carpenters. I loved every moment I spent with you and your family. I’m crying lots of tears of sorrow but more tears of laughter. I could go on
and on about how much Tom and I love you. Tom loves his “Adaweiss”. God bless you Tiny Dancer.

As we get ready to come together and celebrate your life today, I am missing you more than ever. We are all just trying to navigate this world without you physically here. I miss being able to text you a picture, share some news, and hearing you say I love you more. Until I see you again my dear friend…it’s not possible - I love you more!

To my best friend Ada, I will always remember all the fun times we had together! Our card games, casino trips, and especially all the parties! Love you and miss you always! A hole is now in my heart!

You welcomed my family like we were a part of yours and that is something we cherish. Thank you for sharing your home, your meatball recipe, and your beautiful family with us. We are so very blessed to have the chance to meet you and my heart hurts that we won’t see you again. Rest In Peace, Ada.

A Prayer For Ada

Our family wanted to share this with the hopes of some comfort for Ada’s family and friends at this difficult time.

As I stumble through this life,
help me to create more laughter then tears,
dispense more happiness than gloom,
spread more cheer than despair.

Never let me become so indifferent or successful,
that I fail to see the wonders in the eyes of a child,
or the twinkle in the eyes of the aged.

Never let me forget that my total effort is to cheer people, make them happy, and forget momentarily, all the unpleasantness in their lives.

And in my final moment,
may I hear you whisper:
“When you made My people smile,
you made Me smile”.

An amazing wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Eric and I will miss you terribly but will also find comfort knowing you’re at peace. We shared many great times with you and Ron and for that, we are eternally grateful. We, like so many, were blessed to call you our friend.
