My first meeting with Adam came on January 21, 2000. I came home from work to meet the "guy" who had been chatting with my daughter on line. As I entered the living room, a tall handsome young man stood up and as my daughter said "Mom this is Adam" he extened his hand and said "Hi Mom". I instantly knew he was "The One", and I knew that my baby daughter was going to fall in love with this sweet young man. When she got home from her date with him, she was walking on cloud nine. She had him for 9 wonderful years, and we; her family had a "son" at last. Adam loved my eggnog, and between Thanksgiving and Christmas if I did not have eggnog when I went to visit them he would tease me, he would open the door and say "Hi Mom got eggnog, and I would say no, he would shut the door in my face"! He did not do this in a mean way and he always opened the door laughing, and I had eggnog for him. I have not made it since the last time I made it for him, and I can almost bet that if I am lucky enough to make it to the gates of Heaven Adam will be there and he will say "Hi Mom got eggnog"?, and if I say "no" he will laugh and shut the gates of Heaven!
