Adam John Newkirk was born at 9:24 pm on February 4, 1981, in Salt Lake City, Utah, with a head full of dark hair and dark brown eyes.
Weight: 9 lbs, 1 oz.
Length: 22 and 1/4 inches.
It took us a day or two to decide on his name as we had several that we liked, but none actually stood out as the perfect name for our beautiful son. The name “Adam” was one of our favorites, but our reluctance was because we thought the name Adam meant “first born” but this beautiful baby boy was our second child. We researched the meaning of the names on the list and discovered that “Adam” actually meant “Man of the Earth”. For those of you who know Adam well, you will agree that we found the PERFECT name for him for two reasons. The first is that Adam is the son of a geologist father and a geophysicist mother and the second is that he grew to be a man who loved nature and the outdoors.
