Tio, this has been unbelievably difficult to fathom. Your presence in my life is all that encompasses my Mendoza family. Your laugh and joy around others. The unconditional love that is our family. Picking up where we left off has always been my favorite. No judgement. You were eager to say how happy you were for me, every milestone.
Remember when i called you and asked "Tio can you help us connect the gas to the stove? Nick thinks he can do it but i have a feeling he'll blow up the spot lol. You said yeah Nez I can come but i have this hot date can i bring her with me? Sure enough you showed up with your weekend fun and did our stove lol. And when I showed up to your granddaughters baby shower and you said "hey Nez, I'm thinking of doing satellite again, you wanna get this money with me?" I said Tio I got kids now I don't trust anyone with my girls. And you said man it's my shop i make the rules you can bring them to work lol. You thought of me from the jump. When I announced my pregnancy with my son you said "hell yeah I knew Nick had it in him." LOL! There was a time you said to me, damn it I still have game cuz there was some girls whistling at you when we went to the lake. You were the best at making me laugh. Damn it Tio. I've had my share of loss in my life and losing you has been hard for me. I want to erase your passing from all of our lives because if there is ever a second chance at life, you deserve to live on. My heart is shattered irreparably thinking of Bubba and your grandbaby you toted so lovingly. My Dad, your big brother, misses you already. Me and Allisia had to break the news to him and that was easily the most painful thing I've ever had to do. Tio Adam, you are unequivocally missed by every person who knew you. I love you beyond this life. I will see you on the other side. Rest in Heaven Tio Adam. Tell my Mom I love her too.

I remember when Adam and I first met, we shared a lot of the same dreams and goals in life. He was easy goingHe was always so positive and together we were determined to meet those goals and make our dreams turn into reality. He truly loved my two older children and always treated them and looked out for them as if they were his own. When I found out I was pregnant and that it was a boy we were ecstatic. He always wanted a son, a Adam Jr. We couldn’t believe how much Bubba looked like him. That was probably one of the happiest and proudest moments of his life. I remember how his eyes sparkled with joy every time he looked at him. My heart breaks for this tragedy. For our son and granddaughter. He will forever be loved and missed, but he will never be forgotten. RIP Adam.

Tío Adam !!!

Its unreal to live in this new reality where youve gone to the other side. I know Papo & Gramma are happy to greet you into the Kingdom of Heaven. With that I feel a little better but the hard part is carrying on and thinking of the times ahead for Bubba and your grandbaby & your brothers & Tia Lu. I remember so much of when WE were all younger shiiidddddd i remember when you and my Tio Saul took me and Chris to Wendys for the 1st time we asked for some combos and you hit back with uhhh girls we aint come for combos we came for frosties and fries lol and me and Chris were like thats whats up!!! I remember the b95 banner in your room and i used to think it was so cool the music you listened too I thought was so dope lol compared to what my dad listened to. My Daughter who loved Adam so much and he treated her like a Duaghter with so Mitch Love ..... but I know he would love to know that she wrote this on his behalf trying to comfort me;;;

Dad
Hey dad I don’t really know what to say I’m still in shock and hurt but If there’s one thing i know that brings me comfort is that he’s with us , heaven gained another angel today and that’s the way im choosing to look at it. I know he’s going to watch over us always. There’s a quote that says ‘ it’s not on you it’s in you and what’s in you they can’t take away.’ and he’s in all our hearts. So he may not be here visibly anymore but there won’t be a day he’s not in our hearts I love you and call me if anything.

Adam was my brother in law. But, to him I was his “sis”. He never said “no” to me. I never trusted anyone more than him. He knew I would back him up on anything he needed and he showed his gratitude with his devotion and love to us. He literally give his life to save his brother Noe. Years ago he said “if my brother gets in trouble send them to me. He has too much to loose and you and the kids need him”.I would tell him Noe be safer in jail than here with me if he got in trouble! I’ll miss his laugh that I could hear two acres away here at our homes together. All my love and heart  to my brother Adam ❤️

From Roy Dunlap: To my Road Dog Adam,You were there for me when it was only four of us against a whole gang of fools that messed with my brother and they back down. You were also there to save me and Noe in Santa Cruz. You watched over my dad. You always had my back brother and my family. It’s going be hard without you brother…..Roy
