This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Adam Smith, 67, born on June 16, 1723 and passed away on July 17, 1790. We will remember him forever. Smith is known as the "father of modern economics" and is still among the most influential thinkers in economics today.  Smith is the founder of the classical free market economic theory and responsible for the "invisble hand" theory.  His theories concerning economics continue to influence modern day economists.
