The daughter of the late Howard and Wilna Orr Pearson, Ms. Wills was born in Lincoln, AL and was a graduate of Columbus State University where she obtained her Bachelors Degree. She was currently working toward her Masters degree. Ms. Wills was a member of Christ Abiding Word Christian Church and was currently serving as a professor at Columbus Technical College. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by five siblings, Solomon Orr, Sr., Murphy Pearson, Johnny Lee Pearson, Sr., Joel Pearson and Minister Helen Weed. 

Surviving her departure with cherished memories, include: two sons, Chauncey J. Wills and Jerry L. Wills, Jr.; her former husband and the father of her children, Jerry L. Wills, Sr.; three grandchildren, Jeri A. Wills, Cameron J. Morgan and JaQwaun Clark; three brothers, Omega Pearson (Eula), Howard Pearson and Andrew Pearson (Denece); two sisters, Sharon Hunter (Johnny) and Oritha Smith; a brother-in-law, Bobby Weed; three sisters-in-law, Savannah Orr, Linda Pearson and Arnice Pearson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
