BIG DEBO,
I sat down for so long thinking of what to say about you but words seems to seize. You have been a great source of joy to many as you always touch the lives of people that come across you positively, you never discriminate or look down on anybody both rich or poor, you have always gone and extra mile to make a life better. It is now I know that you're no more with us and i wonder why death would snatch a good and kindhearted person and leave the wicked, "THE LORD UNDERSTANDS" but I know that you are resting with the Lord.
You are greatly missed my friend and brother, good bye.
Rest in Perfect Peace.

Otunba Adebowale Adewunmi Ogunade (Big Debo ) !
The Fiwagboye of Okun Owa, Ijebu,

Your cherished memories can never fade, even though you are gone,
You can never be , more than a thought apart from us,
For as long as there is memory, you'll live on in our hearts.

When on Tuesday Feb 9th you called me and we spoke for close to half an hour on so many issues, i never knew, that was a farewell from you.

Biggy you came, you saw and you conquer.

Though your stay was short, yet it was a very purposeful one.

Otunba Adebowale Adewunmi Ogunade, you were all we could ask for in a brother, friend, son-in-law and brother-in-law. It was a pleasure to be in your company;
You touched so many lives with your kindness, caring, loving, giving and peaceful nature.

Your wife, children and in-laws will miss you dearly.
You will surely be missed by all that knew you.

As you begin your journey home today, i bid you farewell.

Rest in perfect peace my brother, my friend.

Biggy,
It was with great shock that I received the news that you have gone to be with your creator.
You came, you saw and you touched so many a life through great kindness and unalloyed love that you always exhibited to one and all.
I pray that you find peace with God.
Goodnight my dear friend.

How do you say good bye to an engima? You simply don't say goodbye. His good name, legacy as a progressive political gladiator, father of the boys and girls, bridge builder, family man, a man after God's heart and a jolly good fellow will continue to live after him.

Sùn-un’re ooo! Big Debo

Adebowale Adewunmi Ogunade ,i still can’t believe I am writing a tribute because of your passing. Words cannot describe this difficult moment, but if this is the last time I get to say goodbye then I know I will do so with the knowledge that I consider myself blessed to have lived this life as one of your football players.
You touched so many lives by your selfless and countless acts of kindness, always giving and never expecting any favours in return, you laid the path for others to succeed.
The benefits of your hard work is a living testimony for so many youth's, young men and women, above all the grassroot football you took under your wings at a personal and professional level.
CHIEF ADEBOWALE ADEWUNMI , you were and will always be an inspiration to myself, the entire family and anyone who worked with you. You have left a void in the family that will never be filled.
While we mourn today, we also take comfort in the fact that your mission on earth have been fulfilled. We thank the Lord for your life and bid you farewell until we meet again Big DEBO

Big Debo!
It was such a surprise and a rude shock but we take solace in the fact that you lived a fruitful and impactful life.

God is unquestionable and sometimes it is not meant for us to understand.

The thought of never seeing you again is very painful and brings so much tears to my eyes.

You are more than a friend; and it's been a privilege to have known you.
