Rest on Busola. Big shock but God knows best. Live on in Jesus.

It was sad to hear only this week that you'd gone home to be with the Lord. It's the fact that we will not see you again on this side that is sad, not that you'd gone home, having ran your race and finished it well.
I thank the almighty for granting you the grace to finish well. May he favour your lovely children in the land of the living, and make a way for them where there is none. May they be comforted as well as all other members of your family and friends.
Sleep well sis, until we meet to part no more. ❤

Good night Busola Akinnubi.
It is the end of the journey of life in the mother earth but not the end of it all. It all started at Trombi close when the trio of us: myself, Bolatito, Maria and Busola commenced the journey of life as little girls in the close. We did many things together as contemporaries and mates till we parted ways when we all got married. Myself and Busola continued at Oregun in Ikeja when I later relocated to Spain. The death came to me as a shock but I take consolation in the words of God knowing fully well that it is not the end.
Sleep well Busola.

Your passing came as a rude shock, it still feels unreal... but it is. Who am l to question our Lord?
You are gone but never to be forgotten. Although l hadn't seen you for many years, our old girls platform brought us all together again.
Your uniqueness created your business.
May our Good Lord be with your children and the family you've left behind.
May your gentle soul rest in peace... Amen

Busola, you were so full of life . It was never a dull moment with you . I can still see your smile on your face now.
You ran your race , it was short but sweet while it lasted.

We had always hoped we would be here together till dusk... But I guess you wanted that heavenly armour so quickly!

You won Busola... you are indeed victorious! "For there is [indeed] no condemnation for those that died in Him".
It isn't the time for long epistles or sermons... I would rather celebrate the lady that you were.

We spoke at length after my mum passed and I could hear the peace and contentment in your voice and I told you so. You were braced because you knew who you were in Him and what glory awaits you.

Rest on beloved angel and keep watch over the fab 2.

Sister Busola,

You are such a beautiful and pleasant person. You were very respectful to everyone regardless of one's age or status. You are a true lover of Christ.
May your soul rest in peace. May God give the entire family the fortitude to bear this separation.

I'm not sure how to do this. How can I try and describe someone so special in plain old words? And, how can I possibly sum up the feelings and memories I have for Busola in one tribute? It’s almost impossible.

I’ve read so many messages this week and have heard from many people from many places saying “there are no words” – well, there are. There are words.

There are words of happiness about the treasured time we all had with Busola, albeit too brief. There are words of beauty to describe her individuality and how she always looked. There are words of sorrow to try and communicate what we are feeling now she has left us.

But maybe most of all there are words of strength, of hope, of power, of resilience and of tender love. Words that can bring us all together, to cross these choppy waters and come out the other side, better for it.

For me Busola was a fiery spark full of love and determination. She was beautiful, smart, challenging, empathetic and encouraging. She always looked to grow; to better herself as a person. She was a great listener with time for friends from all walks of life. She was as selfless as she was determined and left her mark on so many people. A great loss among us all. Nothing breaks my heart more than having a world that no longer has you in it. You weren’t one in a million but just you and it was an honor to have shared this life with you. We never got the chance to say goodbye. Now we all know you're in a better place. Rest in peace my dearest sister!

The news of your departure came as a great surprise and it is so heart-breaking.

Today, I find peace with God’s word and accept His will and in all, I give God the glory.

My dear Stylish Abussy Babe…a jolly good fellow…bubbling and ever happy…the dancing queen…above all was still so caring in the face of it all...I remember sending you a picture of daddy and I at Elder V. O. Kukoyi’s funeral in Ijebu in August 2018, you called me immediately and in the course of our discussion, you said “Tessy, indeed God has been good to my dad but I strike a deal with you today...I covet your prayers in the area of salvation of his soul” and I said is well!
You were always smiling and calm...your calmness is a virtue to remember. You never mentioned what you were passing through...haa! But we are encouraged that we shall meet again to rejoice and share stories of victory.

You are sadly missed along life’s way, quietly remembered every day... No longer in our lives to share but in our hearts, there you are always.

May the God of all comfort comfort your children and loved ones.

Adieu my dear Abussy Babe!

A rude shock indeed!
Busola, your passing was one too many.
You had sent me personal message on my birthday in February, asking me, "where is the parry?" I replied that I was home alone o. Your reply was, "pelu Jesu."
Just a day before your passing, I thought of you; I was planning to order a clock.
Nothing prepared me for what I saw on our school WhatsApp page!!! What is this???

No doubt you demonstrated great courage and strength till the very end.
My dear sis, we love you, but the Lord loves you more.
I know I will miss you. The Lord will comfort your children and everyone who mourn your transition.

Dear Busola Osikoya as I knew you then in GCA.
Always active, jovial and smiling.
Though we didn't see one on one for years after school, we connected again via GCAOGA and Facebook.
I don't have words to describe the depth of loss to us your school mates.
I pray that the God of all comfort will give your children and the entire family the strength and Grace required at this challenging time.
Adieu friend and rest in the bossom of your Lord and maker unti the resurrection morning.
Good night Adebusola.

I got to know you in 2003, Ebenezer and Ayodele were in nursery one together and they became friends. The love for each other was infectious and we mummies were initiated to the fold.
one thing that couldn't be taken away from you is your loyalty which was total. Your commitment was overwhelming and we became family.
The news of your departure made me so numb. My pain really is that you gave to the friendship more than I did.
I miss you so bad. Your own 'best friend'  whom Ebenezer and Ayodele would not admit cried out when I told him him you had gone to be with the Lord.
You made your mark. You lived well. You are a worthy sister and friend. The memories of you we have is a sweet one. You even chose not to bother anyone with your pain. You were still able to accommodate my cries and complaints even in your pain.
I know that our Lord and master Jesus in whom you believed is not ashamed to be called your God.
Rest in peace best friend's mummy. looking forward to the resurrection morning.

Busola!!! Your sudden departure from this planet earth came as a rude shock to me.

I saw you in December 2018 at one of our classmates 50th birthday in Lagos after 3 decades of graduation. Little did I know that would be the last memory of seeing you.

My deepest heartfelt sympathy goes to your precious children, dad and the entire family during this painful moment. I pray God will comfort them and uphold them.

May your gentle soul RIP

Writing tribute on Busola Osikoya at this time is not what I can even have thought about. It's unimaginable. All I can say is that may God grant her eternal rest and continue to guard and guide her children that she left behind. May God comfort the entire family and all of us who know her. All GCA memories and old girls association moves are still very fresh. But God knows best. Good night my dear sister with a heart of gold. Omolabake Oyafunke (Shittu)

I remember the last time I saw you was at my cousin son's wedding a week after we also met at Nike's birthday party in December 2018. You were always smiling and fun of life.

However, in all things we should always give thanks and glory to God Almighty

Busola, it's still a big shock to hear you have passed on to glory. I just can't comprehend this!!! You are too young to go!!!

Who are we to question God.

I remembered your tall height, your humbleness and ever smiling face from Government Colege Agege and also at my daughter's wedding in Ikeja.

God will comfort your children and all the family you left behind.

Sleep on and sleep well friend till we meet to part no more.

My dear Adebusola
I cannot believe that you are gone and that I will not see you again on this side of eternity. We have shared the same space for about 53 years on this earth and we spent our early years together in our Alma Mata Government College Agege where you excelled in your studies.

Sweet Lady Busola You have always been articulate, intelligent and beautiful (Beauty and Brains). And though we went our separate ways after secondary school, we kept in touch with each other. And our Alumni meetings became opportunities to reminisce. I rejoiced with you on your success in business with Clockmania and your unique ideas.

When I saw you at my 50th birthday party in December 2018, I was so excited. Little did I know that would be the last memory of seeing you face to face.

I pray the Lord comfort your children and siblings and your dear Father whom you loved. Your friendship is a sweet fragrance that will not fade away. I am so happy that you are a woman of faith and I am assured that you are resting in the bosom of your Saviour and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Goodnight my dear.

Busola was a very pleasant lady and so full of life. Her death therefore came as a rude shock, an extremely painful one at that. However, we are consoled that she knew the Lord and we believe she is in a better place. May the Lord comfort the family and take care of the lovely children she left behind. Good night Busola.
