11 years ago today we lost you Auntie. With your history of being a minister, I know you are in Heaven surrounded by 1000 Angels. Be happy there, and save a place for me. Someday we'll all be together! Tell my dad and brother I love and miss them as well. Forever missed!

I have saved article re Mrs. Domingues death since 2002 when my own mother Lydia Anahory was over 100 years old. She also was born in Brava, Cape Verde Islands 12/7/1898. My father Joseph Anahory was also from there. He died at age 61, but my mom died 12/12/2006 at age 107.I would love to hear from any family member.It must be the volcanic ash that made them live so long!

Adelina Domingues was my great aunt, sister of my grandmother Virginia Souza. This photo was taken on my aunt's 107th birthday. She lived to be 114, and died in her sleep in a nursing home in Spring Valley Calif.
