Adell Blackwell Gill, 85, a resident of Person County passed away Friday, November 21, 2014 at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham.

A native of Granville County, the daughter of the late Henry Lee Blackwell and Bessie Greenway Blackwell. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was a homemaker.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Trinity United Methodist Church by Rev. Lori Cox and Rev. Jack Ruth. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-three years, Harold E. Gill of the home, a daughter, Wanda Gill of Roxboro, a son, Guy Gill of Atlanta, Ga., three sisters; Foy B. Hart of Oxford, Evelyn B. Elliott and Wilma B. Tunstall both of Butner, three grandchildren and one great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by two brothers; Howard and Ruben Blackwell.

Flowers are accepted or memorials can be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 6543 Goshen Rd. Oxford, N.C. 27565.

Visitation will be held after the funeral service in the fellowship hall of the church.
