Arimoro! As I fondly call you. I made up my my mind to mourn you minimally but rather celebrate you my brother, friend and mentor. At Igbobi College where we started our friendship in our innocence it was indeed friendship. You were my goalkeeper and I always want to be on your side when we play five-a-side, knowing fully well that the ball is safe in your hands. When I beckoned on you to pass the touch of the leadership of our dear ICOBA 89 set, your response was ‘who am I to say no’ you led the Association forthrightly. When I had my close call with Covid-19, you stood by me, introduced me to your Dr brother in UK who supported me just at the mention of your name.
Arimoro I can not mourn you it’s hard for me, but i find it so easy to celebrate you. The good ones indeed don’t hang about for so long! I take solace in the fact that you’ve played your role as ordained by God Almighty, who in His infinite mercy has called you to His side. Keep the goalpost Arimoro!
