BIOGRAPHY OF ADETAYO AFOLABI OLAITAN ODUSOLA

Adetayo was born Sunday, the 5th July, 1970 in Ijebu-ode to Late Daddy Benjamin Olaniyi Odusola and Mummy Mary Abiola Odusola.
Adetayo was the 4th of six children from mummy's side and 13th of Late Daddy Odusola's children.
Adetayo was raised in an affluent Christian home. He had a privileged upbringing. He was loving, playful and extremely resourceful. He grew up fond of cars and everything that glitters. Late Daddy and his cohorts called him “Mercedes”.
As a kid, Adetayo played fearlessly. As a teenage prince in the Odusola household, he was probably the only one that dared to challenge “The King” (The Late Daddy Odusola), respectfully calling him to order. A true general in his own right from a young age.
Adetayo was protective of his siblings, and extremely humble around them. He was extremely generous and could not care less about giving all he had away.
Like most of Late Daddy Odusola’s children, Adetayo attended a private nursery/primary school, the renowned Sanni Luba. He had a brief stint at Luba secondary before transferring to Mayflower secondary school, where he completed his secondary education with good grades.
He attained his undergraduate qualification at the Osun state college of science and technology Ire, and college of science and technology Esa-Oke respectively.
Having fulfilled an ambition that was in his parents’ best interest. It was time to live his dreams and pursue an ambition he was passionate about.
Adetayo was gifted, a gift Late Daddy Odusola identified in Adetayo’s early years. Daddy described him as a “Budding Merchant”.
Adetayo loved music. He would gather his friends around as kids and together they composed varied genres of music. A couple of years before new edition released a song titled “cool it down” in 1984. Adetayo had a song titled “cool it now”. Music remained his passion all through his life.
Adetayo loved life and fun. Snooky’s was coined out of this. He built a dream where he could earn a living in an environment where music, culture, fun, food, fashion and love was celebrated. Friends gathered daily for Jollof. He was also a great cook. He is credited for having the first exotic snooker lounge in ijebu-ode probably ijebuland.
He would later go on to open Snooky’s Suites.
Adetayo was a people’s man. He valued his friends without prejudice or discrimination.
Again Adetayo valued his family so much that he abandoned the so called “God’s own country” to be near his mother and siblings.
Adetayo was married to his gorgeous wife Tosin (Nee Odulate). The marriage subsisted to the end. Adetayo and Tosin have two beautiful children (son and daughter).

Adetayo answered the glorious call on Friday 31st August, 2018.
