I thank God for bringing you my way. You influenced a lot of my life decisions after we met; you loved and mentored me passionately. I appreciate every moment you spent advising me and your various invitations to your office at Ebute Meta. You were indeed a blessing and a great mentor, father, and pastor.

Continue to rest in the bosom of our Lord. We love you and miss you so much.

The legacy you have left behind still speaks till tomorrow, just like yesterday 5 years has passed. We will forever remember you sir. We would always appreciate the Love, care, discipline, faithfulness, righteousness, guidance, patience, leadership style, words of encouragement, private corrections and counselling, integrity, fear of God, life of holiness, and an heavenly focused mind that you have impacted into our lives. It has been a tremendous help to our inner strength. The memories of the fatherly role and mentorship can never be forgotten just like that. Love you forever. Till we meet again on the resurrection morning. Sleep on nimbles, sleep on AAO, Sleep on  God’s general. Shalom.

The Lord is always good and always leaves us reasons to thank Him. When we loose our loved ones, especially those who we know are children of God, we console ourselves with they are in a better place. Just thinking yesterday, I said our dear pastor Tokunbo is now in a place where the dreaded Corona viruse cannot get to. The fear that is ravaging the whole world has no effect on him. Isn't that a better place. More so, I want to thank God that pastor Tokunbo did not die this year, 30th March 2020 and we wouldn't have been able to celebrate his departure as deem fit, the children wouldn't have been able to come and say goodbye to their dad and give him their last respect, but God who knows what was ahead did His wonders. My dear in-law you are still very fresh in our minds and the wound has refused to heal or really slow in healing. My dear cousin Dupe, the Lord will continue to keep you and the children, He will comfort you on every side in Jesus name.

A great man and wonderful Pastor

Blessed to have met you sir, especially that you were my Area Pastor and supported us financially and spiritually in our just concluded Area youth program. God bless you sir and we are all sure you are in a better place.

Life is short, therefore let the living prepare for the inevitable.

Good night God's General!
