Madame! Our interactions were mostly limited to family gatherings but I always liked and admired you! You were an amazon - a black beauty, with an amazing sense of humour - wry, ironic - with your original one-liners, and a heart of gold you tried to hide in a tough exterior! We love you, God loves u more! Missing u already! RIP, Sister!

Goodnight My Madam!

June 20, 2012
'Madam' We met in the most unassuming way, I needed new sheets! And then you decided to be my friend, it was fast and yet very strong, everyday for three years that felt like three decades. I called you first, once I heard of the crash so sure you wouldn't and couldn't be there, but fate had other plans..... I miss you! Every single minute of every single day since then. It's time to finally say goodbye.....my sister,my friend. Thank you for every lesson you taught with love, thank you for every day of your life you shared, thank you for every call, ping, text that became so consistent my days couldn't start without them. But most of all thank you for showing me a world of possibilities and showing me how to live for every minute in everyday. The stars are brighter because you are home, our lights are dimmer because you have gone. Till we meet at His feet, Adieu

Dobis my Dobis

June 19, 2012

I met you on a beautiful morning in Pankshin, Plateau State, where we were posted to carry out our Primary assignment (NYSC).  We took to each other as soon as we met and became inseparable, that friendship continued until the Almighty God decided to take you to a better place.

Adobi, you were very intelligent, highly talented and forward going.  You never encouraged laziness and did your best to make everyone who came your way relevant.  You related with both the high and the low, making sure that everyone was given their rightful place in the scheme of things.  You were a source of encouragement and handled issues logically and without bias.  You never pretended about your feelings for people or issues.

I learnt alot from you, from using the right glass for different types of drinks to wearing the right clothes for occassions.  We shared alot of secrets and couldtalked about anything.  You treated me like your blood sister and wanted me present at all your family functions.  You always said good morning every morning and ended the day with a few chats on BB.  Adobi, I have been waiting for your calls and chats since June 3rd but it looks like I will never get them any more.

Dobis, I miss you.  I miss you very much.  You kept me always on my toes, checking on me now and again. You made sure I never had a dull moment.   We had plans, aspirations and expectations but in all these, God is still God.  He has His reason for allowing this to happen and in obedience we give Him all the glory.

Adobi, rest in peace until we meet on the resurrection day.

ALL GLORY MUST BE TO THE LORD, FOR HE IS WORTHY OF OUR PRAISE, NO MAN ON EARTH SHOULD GLORY TO HIMSELF, ALL GLORY MUST BE TO THE LORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I Remember!
