Happy birthday to my son. I miss you so much. I'll try to get to a happy place without. This is a different kind of grief. I've already experienced the worst pain I'll ever experience, so everything else is easy. Momma loves you so much

Hey baby! I miss you so much. Nine years, has it really been that long. It most certainly doesn't feel like it. What would you be doing? How would you look? Of course, tall and very handsome. My time will come when you and I will be together again. We may not know each other as mother/son, but we will know we once shared a loved for each other ...Love Mom

Adonte i miss you more than ever. I swear it feels like yesterday we were at football practice laughing and joking together. Each year gets harder and harder without you brother. Its good to know your watching down over me man. We used to talk about getting it in the music game and everything im doing is because of your encouragement and support from up above. I love you so much and miss you. I cant wait till we meet again.

Hey my lovely baby! Missing you. So, you'd be 21 years old. I often wonder what you would look like. I know you'd be one big boy. I mean, you were already taller than me.

It's a joy to know that my son will know me. It brings me comfort.

In some ways life in heaven will be very different from life as it is now. In other ways, it will be much the same. One of the ways it will be the same is that people will know and recognize each another. On the Mount of Transfiguration in Matthew 17, Christ's disciples recognized Moses and Elijah even though they had never met. ...So I don't know if we're going to have name tags, but, yes, we'll be able to recognize people. In heaven you will have a new, glorious body, but your soul will be the same one you have now. Your soul is eternal, and other people will surely recognize and know you in heaven.

Amazing Lord, I am so glad that I will have a transformed body in heaven, and I am even more glad that I will still be me and those I love will know me in an instant. Amen.
