Born at her grandmother's house in Marion, La. She was the first child of ten to the union of Percy and Mary Bolton. 

She attended christian school in Fort Worth, Texas and move in the summer after 11th grade to Richmond CA. 

She met John Hart and they married in 1963.   She worked at Pacific Telephone for 7 years, then became a realtor making new friends along the way.  She sold AL Williams Insurance for a time, then became a loan office in Saratoga, CA furthering her personal talent in helping others with home ownership.
