It’s belated I know. Happy heavenly birthday Grandy. I think of you often and talk to you daily. I like to think that you’re proud of me, I’m always trying to keep pride in our name

Mom, there is not a day where you don't cross my mind.  I share my thoughts of you as often as I can. You are in the fiber and fabric that makes me whole. Consequently, you are in my kids fabric as well.  Your only grandson is graduating high school in a few weeks. You would be so proud of him. He knows you in spirit and values. I miss you, lady. I sometimes wonder how life would be if you had been here just a few more years. Then I snap back to reality...:)

We were together 27 years and you've been gone 27 years today. Missing you and loving you has not waned after all these years. I look forward to seeing you again, mommy. I wish your grand kids could meet you and know your greatness firsthand.

Miss Adra- had a presence! Not only beautiful but very intelligent! As a youth I recall my feelings of admiration of this sharp lady! She also raised 2 exceptional children!

The lump in my throat still appears when I think of how much you mean to me. I love you still and I always will, Mom.

I will always miss her. She was a role model for me. She played a very important part in my life for me becoming the woman that I am, because I was a girl when I first met her. And I know she knew me well enough to know that I would always be there for her kids if they needed me, she would have did the same for mines. She was surely gone too soon.
