Hey Brother, your sister and I where talking about you the day before your birthday. We were saying things like, I got some bread for you, but you gave it to someone else. Micah even said he remembered the "old boy" saying. Missing you, wishing you a heavenly birthday.Your sister Trish, Much Love

Five years later and the pain is still here. People keep telling me that it will get better with time...but how much time. I am lost without you.

Baseball

March 27, 2017

I remember being at John Egar Howard. The school used to give us baseball tickets to see the O's. They knew that my grandfather would be there with me. Even if another kids parent could not go with them he would offer to keep the child with us during the games. He would make us laugh, and enjoy the games more than us. Everyone loved him. If someone wanted something or needed food on the trip and they had no money he would get it for them. One time he bought an O's blanket and never opened it. I would look at that blanket and think about how much fun we had. Even Ms. Hope, the secretary at John E., would still ask how I am doing when I go to see her and talk about how nice he was.
