AGNES SICK (GERWING)

November 15, 1926 - September 13, 2015

In loving memory of our dear sister Agnes (Aggie) who passed away peacefully at a nursing home in Edmonton, Alberta, September 13, 2015. Aggie was a dedicated wife to her husband Ted Sick and loving mother of two sons, Ronald (Jane) Sick of Edmonton and late Wayne (Shirley) Sick of Saskatoon. During the mid 1950's to mid 1970's Ted and Aggie resided in Saskatoon. During this time, she was a member of the ANAVETs organization. She became actively involved in children's sports including hockey and baseball. Through this organization, she had the opportunity to coach boys minor league baseball, which was a very unique opportunity for a woman at that time. Aggie and her husband moved to Alberta in the late 70's where she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Aggie loved to spend her free time crocheting, knitting and playing bingo.

Aggie will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her surviving siblings: Leona, Herb, Ed, Irene, Christabell, Jeanette, Maxine, and Angeline, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
