Our dear Auntie Aida was our Mom's best friend while we were in Guam. They had a special bond between the families. My sister Marilou was her favorite, whom she spoiled before the kids came along. Unfortunately when our family decided to return to the Philippines they communicated via letters for many years. Due to the strong relationship with the Salumbides they sent monetary support to my family when we needed it. We will never forget their generosity and the kindness they showed to our family. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to care for Auntie during my stay in 2008. Those were priceless memories that I had with Auntie, especially having to introducing myself everyday, who I am and how am I related to her. The photos I posted were from 2016 when my husband and I visited the Bay area. May you rest in peace Auntie Aida. You'll always be in my heart.
