A picture of you I carry in my heart
I close my eyes to see it
when the world gets dark.
A memory of you I carry in my soul
I wrap it close around me
when the nights get cold.
If you ask how I am, I'd say just fine
But the truth is
if you could read my mind
Not a day goes by
that I don't think of you..
I Love you Aimee and Miss you so much!

limp legs

January 10, 2014

“You will lose someone you can’t live without, and your heart will be badly broken, and the bad news is that you never completely get over the loss of your beloved. But this is also the good news. They live forever in your broken heart that doesn’t seal back up. And you come through. It’s like having a broken leg that never heals perfectly — that still hurts when the weather gets cold, but you learn to dance with the limp.” ~ Anne Lamott

the beaver and the eagle

January 10, 2014

Once upon a time there were two princesses....they were twins.  Each one having the same dream!

The weary and eager Beaver walk along the river she commands. Her legs and teeth were tired from looking for her twin. She sat along the river and thought so hard the Eagle herd her.  The Eagle was so excited to go see her that she flew strait into the air.  The sky is hers. The long Journey to her was very long, and tired the eagle, but she didn't stop till she found her.

The Eagle spotted the Beaver and the Eagle waved. The Beaver waved back.  The eagle knew this was her Beaver she was looking for.  The Eagle circled down to see her closer.

As soon as the Beaver and the Eagle met they turned into two beautiful children and began to play at the rivers edge where thier grandfathers once walked.
