Ο Άκης γεννήθηκε το 1980 στην Αθήνα. 
Απόφοιτος του Τμήματος Μουσικών Σπουδών του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών, συνέχισε τις μεταπτυχιακές του σπουδές στη Μουσική Τεχνολογία στο Λονδίνο, όπου και δούλευε τα τελευταία χρόνια ως μουσικός παραγωγός. Ομολογουμένως εξαιρετικά ταλαντούχος μουσικός, είχε μεγάλη αδυναμία στην κιθάρα. Tα τελευταία χρόνια ασχολείτο και με την ποδηλασία, τη δεύτερή του αγάπη μετά τις κιθάρες του. Ήταν μέλος του ποδηλατικού ομίλου της London Dynamo (http://www.londondynamo.co.uk/)
Σκοτώθηκε σε τραγικό δυστύχημα στο Λονδίνο στις 2 Φεβρουαρίου 2015, καθώς πήγαινε στη δουλειά με το ποδήλατό του

Akis was born in 1980 in Athens.
He graduated from the Department of Music Studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and he continued his studies on a master level in London, where he was working as a music producer the last years.  He was an extremely talanted musician, specialising as a guitarist. The last years he was also a cyclist, joining the London Dynamo cycling club(http://www.londondynamo.co.uk/)
Akis was killed in a tragic accident in London, when he was cycling to his work on February 2nd 2015.
